At Rise, Sid oversees government and stakeholder relations, brand marketing, media relations, and policy advocacy. He previously served as Communications Director of the Long Island Power Authority, the second-largest public power utility in the US. There, Sid fostered strategic partnerships and led initiatives to promote over 1,000 megawatts of new clean and distributed energy since 2014 — including utility-scale solar, battery energy storage, and New York State’s first offshore wind farm. Previously, Sid was Communications Director for county and local governments in New York State.

He has a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Political Science from Hofstra University and a Master’s in Strategic Communications from Columbia University.
